Taj Mahal Note Card

Taj Mahal: Raga Hindol
Note Card

One of the most beautiful buildings in the world, the Taj Mahal, was built as a symbol of eternal love.
It's colors change with the light of day, night, and season.

This card is an image of the first painting in the Taj Mahal series on which I am currently working;
each painting in the series depicts the Taj Mahal at a different time of day or night and season of the year,
and each painting is titled after one of the five traditional Indian Ragas,
which themselves are based on seasons, and times of day and night.
The Sanskrit word "Raga" may be translated to mean 'colour, beauty, melody'.

 This card of  "Taj Mahal: Raga Hindal", depicts the beauty and colour of early morning in the spring.
It is beautifully vibrant, with an intentional grainy textural appearance
which is characteristically achieved with colored pencil.
 I have enhanced this card with 24k accents.
Colors may vary on your monitor.

A great addition to your collection, or a wonderful gift for a special person.
The card measures approximately  5.5" x 4.25", and an envelope is included.
It is blank inside, and suitable for framing.

This card will be shipped in a plastic cover for protection, and a card board envelope to prevent bending.
